About Simone Fraser
Simone is a regulatory law and policy specialist. She has been providing services in the areas of energy, natural resources and environmental law and policy since 2002. Simone has extensive experience advising industry, government and NGOs on major industrial, infrastructure and energy projects and legislative, policy and regulatory reform.
Simone provides research, reports and project management services on matters such as development permits and approvals, policy and regulation reform, stakeholder and aboriginal consultation, and government information access processes. She has a Master of Laws degree in energy, natural resources and environment and is qualified to practice law in Canada and New Zealand.

Policy and Regulation Experience
Since 2002, Simone has gained extensive experience in the development of legislation, policy and regulatory controls for integrated land use and resource management. She has consulted on the integration of environmental controls and infrastructure, mineral extraction, industrial, commercial, energy, agricultural, residential and coastal development in land use plans and regulation.
Building and Development Approvals Experience
Simone has provided consultation and project management services for building and facilities approval applications for complex development projects since 2002. She has worked on projects such as power stations, mineral extraction, dam construction, wind farms, water treatment plants, water allocation permits, landfills, subdivision developments, road construction, marinas and marine terminals, aquaculture, and coastal developments.
